SiteEnergy — your first project
The system works from 8 760 hours of data, not monthly averages. In return it asks for one thing: run the steps in the right order, because several calculations read data that an earlier step wrote.
What you will need
Without these three, the first project stalls.
.xlsx, .xls or .csv, hourly or finer,
ideally covering a full year. This is grid draw, not total

Keeping the order prevents half of the common mistakes.
Name, address, then coordinates. Without coordinates there is no weather or solar data.
On the location data sheet. The euro value is canonical, the forint is mirrored.
Load it, then check the row count and the detected granularity.
On the location data sheet, with the measurement year. Building calculations require it.
Solar (“⚙ Fetch and calculate hourly data”) and battery.
Heat, hot water, buildings. Run “Calculate hourly data” on each one.
Where it all comes together: self-consumption, feed-in, battery, cost, self-sufficiency.
Add what you want to examine, then optimize or evaluate them one by one.
System report, and if your plan includes it: MEKH filing, ESG, ISO 50001.
What the numbers mean
| T-curve | Measured grid draw. Not total consumption — solar energy consumed on site never passed through the meter. |

| Self-sufficiency (%) | 1 − (grid draw − feed-in) / total consumption. An annual net
balance; 100% does not mean off-grid operation. |
| Confidence (%) | How much of the result rests on measurement rather than modelling. A low value is not an error — it says more uploaded data would sharpen it. |
| NPV / IRR / payback | With the discount rate and lifetime you set. The report also states payback in discounted terms. |
